Warranty Periods:

Conditions and Exclusions:

All Panther Protect products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Panther Protect warranty registration MUST be lodged within 30 days of installation. It is your responsibility to register your warranty and should you fail to do so within the required time, your products will not be covered. You can register your product online (https://www.pantherprotect.net.au/warranty/) or by posting your warranty card to Panther Protect, PO Box 1365, Burpengary QLD 4505.

Any claim under warranty must be made in writing to Serene Security Pty Ltd within 30 days of the defect being noticed. Evidence of the defect must be provided to us before your claim can be inspected and reviewed by Panther Protect.

Warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by circumstances out of our control, including (but not limited to) misuse, abuse, wear and tear, accident, alteration in any way or failure to follow the cleaning and maintenance schedule. Panther Protect wash use is mandatory to ensure your warranty is covered.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

All Panther Protect products are made from superior quality materials; however, the harsh effects of high UV exposure, airborne pollution, general dirt/dust, animal urine and salt air can all accumulate over time, which can create both corrosive and acidic conditions on the product. It is for this reason, to preserve the efficiency and durability of the product, it is crucial to adhere to the maintenance schedule relevant to your location.

It is very important to understand that failure to comply with the maintenance schedule will void your warranty.

Maintenance Schedule:

 How to clean your Panther Protect Doors and Windows:
  1. Hose down mesh and surrounding door/window frame using mains water paying attention to the areas that have obvious build up (this will be more likely to occur at the bottom of the door/window where residue can accumulate and settle).
  2. Use a soft, non-abrasive brush or broom and Panther Wash (supplied at installation) in warm water, clean the door/window to remove all dust, dirt, salt and other built-up deposits (pay attention to areas that would not normally be exposed to natural rainwater).
  3. Always rinse thoroughly after cleaning with fresh, clean water to remove any remaining Panther Wash.
Warnings:
  • Never attempt to clean the mesh or frame with a dry cloth as it can scratch the product.
  • The use of recycled tank or bore water is not recommended as it may lead to further corrosive effects and staining.
  • Detergents other than Panther Wash must be avoided as they may contain harsh solvent-based chemicals or abrasives which can cause damage to the powder-coated surface of the product.
  • The use of Panther Wash is mandatory to ensure your warranty is covered.
